Data Center Canada selects BioTime to simplify management and enhance security of access to their facilities and sensitive systems.

Orlando, FL April 14, 2010 – Data Centers Canada (DCC), a data center provider, which operates, develops and manages Canadian real estate for the purpose of providing turn-key data center solutions including collocation and disaster recovery solutions for enterprises, has selected BioTime for their physical access control solution to protect both their facility and their private collocation cages.

After BioTime’s installation, DCC was able to strengthen security to their facility entrance by adding a three tier physical challenge system utilizing Biometrics, PIN codes and Card Access. This same high security was also applied to their private collocation cages where clients house sensitive systems.

“We wanted to replace our existing system with one that would not only provide our facility with multi-factor secured entry, but also allow us to easily track whoever came in and out of any protected areas with one cohesive system.
